pdfRelay was built because generating PDFs shouldn't be this hard. Most services spin up a full Chrome browser for every document, which is slow, expensive, and unpredictable. We thought there had to be a better way.

Our approach: a purpose-built Rust rendering engine that converts HTML and CSS directly to PDF. No browser overhead, no cold starts, no inconsistent output. Just fast, reliable document generation through a simple API.

On top of that, we added the features developers actually need: React-based templates with a live visual editor, batch processing, document hosting with access controls, and webhooks. Everything is designed to get out of your way so you can focus on your product.
